Teacher Training

More than a certification.

A deeper connection to movement, self, and community.

For women who feel called to understand yoga not just practise it.

The Quiet Calling

Sometimes the practice

becomes something more.

Not just movement. Not just fitness. Not even just healing.

A quiet feeling that there's more of you waiting to be uncovered.

"You've been practising for years.

Something in you keeps asking: what if this could be more than just my mat?

That's the call. This is where you answer it."

Maybe yoga has already supported you through seasons of stress, transition, motherhood, burnout, grief, growth, or change.

Maybe something about the practice keeps pulling you back.

Not because you want to become someone else. But because you want to come home to yourself.

Why Wise Moves by Ange Exists

Born from lived experience.

Yoga entered Ange's life during a season of enormous transition moving across the country alone, navigating shift work, personal stress, family illness, and eventually a separation that left her searching for steadiness.

When she said yes to her own 200-hour teacher training in 2014, life didn't feel calm or ready. It felt full. Messy. Uncertain. But something inside her knew it mattered. That decision became far more than a qualification. It became a way back to herself.

Now, Wise Moves is bringing Mandurah its very first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training to create a space where women can reconnect with their own inner wisdom, confidence, and voice.

who keeps feeling the pull toward something deeper.

the woman quietly wondering if there's more for her

the mother wanting something that belongs just to her

the long-time practitioner craving deeper understanding

The Training

What You'll Explore

A rich and layered exploration of yoga beyond the surface level.

Asana & Intelligent Movement

We explore asana not as a performance of flexibility or strength, but as a conversation with the body. You'll learn how to understand poses from the inside out.

Yoga Philosophy & the Sutras

We explore philosophy as living wisdom that speaks directly to modern life.

Nervous System Awareness

Understanding the nervous system changes everything about how you teach.

Breath & Pranayama

Breath is the bridge between body and mind.

Sequencing & Class Design

A well-sequenced class is more than a list of poses it's a journey.

Anatomy & Functional Movement

Understanding how the body works changes how you teach.

Teaching Skills & Holding Space

Holding space is one of the deepest skills a yoga teacher can develop.

Self-Study & Reflection

Self-study is a lived practice that underpins everything.

Meditation & Mindfulness

Meditation is about learning to be with whatever is present.

Your Authentic Teaching Voice

Finding your authentic teaching voice is deeply meaningful.

Community & Cohort Connection

There is something powerful about learning alongside others.

Practitioner Support

Completing your training is not the finish line it’s the beginning.

The Wise Moves Approach

A training designed to feel deeply human.

Grounded in both traditional yoga philosophy and real modern-life experience, Wise Moves offers a learning environment that values nervous system safety, emotional awareness, curiosity, embodiment, and authentic connection.

“The most impactful teachers are often the ones willing to stay curious, open, and honest in their own growth.”

This is not about performing wellness or becoming the “perfect” yoga teacher. It’s about learning how to hold space with clarity, care, and trust beginning with yourself.

  • Mastery over performance

We teach the depth behind every practice, so your teaching feels genuine never scripted or borrowed from someone else's voice.

  • Nervous system safety first

Every element considers how the body and mind receive, process, and integrate experience. Safety is the foundation.

  • Embodiment over theory

The teachings are lived through practice not abstract ideas. You learn by experiencing what you will one day offer others.

  • Mentorship over instruction

This training places relationship, cohort connection, and ongoing support at the centre of learning. You are not just receiving information you are being guided.

  • Confidence through practice

Not through perfection. Confidence is something we build slowly, honestly, and together over time through repetition, reflection, and genuine support.

  • Wisdom is already within you

Svadhyaya (self-study) sits at the heart of everything we do. We are not here to give you your answers. We are here to help you learn to listen for them yourself.

BEYOND THE CERTIFICATE
Many women begin unsure whether they even want to teach.
That is completely welcome here.

For some, teaching becomes a natural next step. For others, the training becomes something far more personal — a shift in how they move through life, relationships, work, and self-trust.

The certificate matters. But what stays long after the training ends is something quieter, deeper, and harder to put into words.

Confidence
A steadiness in how you show up
Clarity
A deeper understanding of what matters
Community
Women who see and support you
Inner wisdom
A stronger connection to your own voice
Who you become along the way matters just as much as where you are going.

Questions

You may be wondering.

There are no wrong questions. Reach out anytime we read every enquiry personally.

Do I need to want to teach yoga to join? +

Not at all. Many women join purely to deepen their understanding of yoga and themselves. The training offers something far bigger than a certificate — it offers a relationship with yourself that changes the way you move through life.

Am I experienced enough to join? +

If you feel genuinely drawn toward the training, that matters far more than being “advanced.”

What style of yoga is taught? +

Wise Moves integrates intelligent movement, philosophy, nervous system awareness, and embodiment.

What if I feel nervous about beginning? +

Most women do. You are not expected to arrive fully confident — only open.
