Wise Moves was never
created simply to teach yoga.

It was created to hold space for transformation, self-understanding, connection, and the quieter journey of coming home to yourself.

“How It Began”

Yoga entered Ange’s life during a season of enormous change.

After moving from the Gold Coast to Perth alone, navigating shift work, personal stress, family illness, and eventually separation, life felt uncertain and overwhelming in ways that are difficult to fully explain.

“At first, yoga became a way to move. A way to rest.
A way to feel steady again.”

But over time, the practice became something much deeper. Not simply a physical practice, but a relationship with awareness, nervous system regulation, self-study, and understanding how we move through life itself.

When she said yes to her 200-hour teacher training, life wasn’t ready. But something inside her knew it mattered.

Life was messy. Full. Emotional. There was no perfect moment to begin. The decision was made in the middle of it all — because that’s often where real change begins.

That choice became far more than a qualification. It became a way back to herself. A turning point not just in movement, but in how she understood people, healing, resilience, and connection.

“Over the last 15 years, yoga has become not only a practice of movement, but a way of understanding people.”

Why Wise Moves by Ange Exists

Born from lived experience.

Yoga entered Ange's life during a season of enormous transition moving across the country alone, navigating shift work, personal stress, family illness, and eventually a separation that left her searching for steadiness.

When she said yes to her own 200-hour teacher training in 2014, life didn't feel calm or ready. It felt full. Messy. Uncertain. But something inside her knew it mattered. That decision became far more than a qualification. It became a way back to herself.

Now, Wise Moves is bringing Mandurah its very first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training to create a space where women can reconnect with their own inner wisdom, confidence, and voice.

Who This Is For

This training is for the woman who keeps feeling the pull toward something deeper.

the woman quietly wondering if there's more for her

the woman who feels called to guide others someday

the woman who keeps telling herself she's "not ready yet"

the woman who can't explain it she only knows the feeling

The Wise Moves Approach

A training designed to feel deeply human.

Grounded in both traditional yoga philosophy and real modern-life experience, Wise Moves offers a learning environment that values nervous system safety, emotional awareness, curiosity, embodiment, and authentic connection.

“The most impactful teachers are often the ones willing to stay curious, open, and honest in their own growth.”

This is not about performing wellness or becoming the “perfect” yoga teacher. It’s about learning how to hold space with clarity, care, and trust — beginning with yourself.

  • Mastery over performance

We teach the depth behind every practice, so your teaching feels genuine — never scripted or borrowed from someone else's voice.

  • Nervous system safety first

Every element considers how the body and mind receive, process, and integrate experience. Safety is the foundation.

  • Embodiment over theory

The teachings are lived through practice — not abstract ideas.

  • Mentorship over instruction

You are guided, not just taught.

  • Confidence through practice

Built slowly through repetition, reflection, and support.

  • Wisdom is already within you

We help you learn to listen for your own answers.

Beyond the Certificate

Many women begin unsure whether they even want to teach. That is completely welcome here.

For some, teaching becomes a beautiful next step. For others, the training becomes a deeply personal experience that changes the way they move through life, relationships, work, motherhood, stress, and self-trust.

The certificate matters. But what stays with most women long after the training ends is something much harder to put into words.
